Long-lasting beauty with ChromaLife100

First of all, what is ChromaLife100?

ChromaLife100 preserves lasting beauty in photographs with the power of genuine products: print heads, ink and photo paper.

Advent of a new dye-based ink that curtails fading in photographs.

Color fades gradually with the passage of time with both regular silver halide photos that are developed and printed from negatives and with photos that are printed with an inkjet printer. This is due to the impact of gases contained in the air and light. Canon's new dye-based inks CLI-8, CL-41/51/52/831, CLI-36 and BCI-16 have succeeded in preserving the beauty of photographs over many years by minimizing the impact of these elements. These advanced dye-based inks not only protect beauty but boast high storage stability.

The new dye-based inks are designed to maximally exhibit high image quality and high weather-resistance when combined with PIXMA's high-performance print head FINE, and Canon genuine photo paper. In particular, printing onto Photo Paper Pro, Canon's flagship photo paper, enables photo printing with unprecedented high definition and makes long-term storage possible.

FINE print heads, new dye-based inks and genuine photo paper—the power of these three genuine products combine to protect the beauty of photographs.
