EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens offers exceptional focal length range – the equivalent of 29-320mm in the 35mm format. This is a great lens for capturing both standard and telephoto images. High image quality at all focal lengths is ensured with two Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) lenses and two high-precision aspherical lenses. The lens’ built-in optical Image Stabilizer produces an effect equivalent to a shutter speed of about 4 stops faster, allowing for image clarity even in shaky shooting conditions. This IS unit is also capable of identifying camera panning mode from normal shooting automatically. The lens’ circular aperture can produce beautiful out-of-focus image and lens coatings are also optimized to minimize ghosting and flare.
