Dedicated to support professional photographers owning Canon professional equipment for their daily work
 

How do I qualify for membership of the Canon Professional Services scheme?
Canon Professional Services (CPS) is a service designed to support Canon Professional Users. It is currently a free service designed to provide busy professionals with information and support to help them in their work. Because this service is designed for Professional Users there are some entry qualifications. In general you should own at least 1 Professional Canon AF body (Film: EOS 5, EOS 3 & EOS-1 series; Digital: EOS 50D, 5D series, 7D & EOS-1D series) and 2 Canon L-series lens. These equipments should be officially imported by Canon Hongkong Company, Limited. We regret that we are currently unable to accept applications for CPS Membership from locations other than Hong Kong and Macau. Also, we cannot accept applications from Non- Full-time Professionals.
  How do I apply for CPS membership?
In order to speed up your application, you should send together your membership application with some supporting document as an evidence showing: 1. You own officially imported Canon equipments and 2. You are a full-time professional photographer.
 
 
These helpful supporting documents are:
- Photocopy of full set Warranty Card(s) of the registered Professional equipment officially issued by Canon Marketing Hong Kong Co., Ltd. or Canon Hongkong Co., Ltd.

- Your Business Card with title.

- Photocopy of employment confirmation letter issued by your employer if you are employed.

- Photocopy of Business Registration Certificate if you run your own business

- Proof of your mailing address.

- 2 passport sized photograph of yours

- Your body of work or portfolio related to your professional / career in a CD or any other forms
(The above information supplied by you will be used for CPS membership application purpose only.)

  What are the exclusive offers under the CPS Scheme?

- Priority maintenance and repair services for registered Canon
photographic equipment at CPS Express Service Counter located
at 11/F., 26 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.

- Exclusive offers on the rates for servicing of registered Canon
photographic equipment

- Technical support and services provided by Canon professional
representatives and technical support hotlines answered by
Professional Services Representatives

- Emergency loan of equipment on a short-term basis in the event
of loss, theft or damage (subject to availability, payment of a rental
charge and other terms and conditions of Canon)

- Invitations to preview workshops and functions organised by Canon
  What is the cost of CPS Membership?
CPS Membership is granted for two years basis.
  CPS Membership is subject to Canon's standard terms and conditions set out in this leaflet (the "Conditions") as such Conditions may be varied by Canon. The normal processing time for applications for CPS Membership is around one month from the date of Canon receives your application form.
