Many non-profit organizations in Hong Kong self-finance their daily operations. Funding is therefore the challenge faced by many of these organizations. In addition to the annual funds received from the government, these organizations always need to explore private sponsorships or funding opportunities from other organizations in order to secure resources to meet their needs and continue to maintain their level of service. In view of "Kyosei", Canon has organized a charity sale in 2008 which sold multi-functional printers to non-profit organizations at a favorable price. Beneficiary organizations include the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and the Hong Kong Society for the Deaf.
