Canon Hongkong sponsored Hong Kong Tennis Open 2015 as “Official Imaging Partner” for the 2nd consecutive year
 
Organized by the Hong Kong Tennis Association, the Hong Kong Tennis Open 2015 was successfully held for the 2nd consecutive year at Victoria Park Tennis Stadium during 10 – 18 October. The tournament is a Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) sanctioned International Series Event and the 8th stop on the WTA Asian swing. More than 40 of the world’s best female tennis players from all over the world, including the 7-time Grand Slam Singles Champion, Venus William of U.S.A, the former World No. 1 Jelena Jankovic of Serbia, the former World No. 4 Samantha Stosur of Australia & current World No. 7 Angelique Kerber of Germany, battled in Singles & Doubles for prize money of  total US$250,000.
 
Being one of the long-term supporter to the local mega sports events, Canon Hongkong (CHK) sponsored the tournament as “Official Imaging Partner” for the second year. A series of office equipment such as multi-functional devices & laser printers with copy, scan, fax all-in-one functions were loaned to facilitate the dairy office operation before and during the tournament. During the event, Canon Professional Service Depot (CPS) was set up inside the Media Centre in order to provide quality repair and equipment (camera and lens) loan service for over 100 media photographers and broadcasting team from all over the world.
 

This year, CHK exclusively reserved tournament seats and provided a privileged lens rental offer to EOS-1 Club members. Selected telephoto lens could be rented at special discount rate. Members could watch and take photos on top quality professional tennis. To add more the excitement to the spectators, CHK sponsored 30 digital compact cameras & multi-function photo printers as lucky draw prize after each of the matches every day.

 
About Hong Kong Tennis Association (HKTA)
It is formed in 1909 and recognized by the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) & the International Tennis Federation (ITF) with over 4,000 members. The objectives of HKTA are to promote tennis to all, to nurture local talented players to compete at regional & international matches so as to raise the standard of tennis sports in Hong Kong.
 

Hong Kong Tennis Open 2015 received overwhelming response. Tickets of Semifinals & Finals were quickly sold out.
