CHK Corporate Volunteer Team was established since 2015, encouraging CHK employees to put love and care into actions. The team gathered enthusiastic employees who voluntarily devoted their leisure time into sending cares and happiness to different targets in the society through an array of social services. Shortly in one-year time, 64 corporate volunteers have served in 8 programmes, in which the beneficiaries include children, elderly, families as well as the environment. With nearly 620 hours of service, in 2015 the team proudly attained the Silver Award for Volunteer Service (Organization) 2015 issued by the Volunteer Movement of Social Welfare Department.

The first year of the team’s service proved that it was always more blessed to give than to receive – Our corporate volunteers indicated that they were as happy as the service targets when they had the chance to interact and share with each other. What’s more, the enhanced understandings on the needs of different sectors in the society also inspired and encouraged them to take extra miles in serving the community. In 2016, CHK Corporate Volunteer Team will continue to support an even wider spectrum of services for different needy in the society. Meanwhile, cohering to the CHK’s mission of “Empowering through Imaging” and by making use of the company’s imaging expertise, the team will also proactively enrich the services by incorporating various photo shoot & print activities, so as to spread the fun of imaging.
