Canon takes its Cinema EOS System to a new level with the addition of four new professional digital cinematography products. A top-grade EOS C500+/ EOS C500 PLΦ interchangeable-lens professional digital camcorders currently under development are capable of recording 4K-resolution video with RAW output to ensure the utmost in image quality, in response to growing expectations for even higher levels of imaging performance. Besides, Canon is also developing 4 new cinema zoom lenses, including CN-E15.5-47mm T2.8 L S* / CN-E15.5-47mm T2.8 L SP# wide-angle cinema zoom lenses and CN-E30-105mm T2.8 L S*/ CN-E30-105mm T2.8 L SP# telephoto cinema zoom lenses, each delivers exceptional optical performance for use with 4K-resolution cameras and offers compatibility with digital SLR cameras or camcorders with Super 35mm-equivalent CMOS sensors. Delivering superior mobility and utility, the zoom lenses feature compact, lightweight bodies for easy handheld shooting under different situations for more operational flexibility during film production. A new EOS-1D C DSLR camera supporting high-resolution 4K video capture will also be introduced soon.
