Canon PIXMA Smart Office and Smart Home All-In-One Printers

Canon today announces that two wireless printing technologies including PIXMA Cloud Print and AirPrint™ wireless printing are now supported in most of its PIXMA Smart Office and Smart Home All-in-One Printers. Whether at home or on the go, users can print anytime easily through remote and mobile printing, realizing a smart mobile printing solution which is more enjoyable and convenient! Following the launch of “Google Cloud Print™”, PIXMA MG8270 and MG6270 users can now access the PIXMA Cloud Print function for easy and direct remote printing. In addition, PIXMA MG4170 and MG3170 now support AirPrint™ wireless printing that allows direct printing of photos, emails, documents or web pages from iOS device1, enabling users to experience a smarter way of wireless printing.

Intelligent PIXMA Cloud Print Technology for Easy and Direct Remote Printing
PIXMA MG8270 and MG6270 users can now send out print orders through any mobile gadget with the support of “Google Cloud Print™”. Whether you are in meetings or on the go, documents can be sent to printer through Cloud Print technology remotely. Cloud Print technology enables easy and convenient printing without the need of a computer to truly enhance work efficiency. Simply complete the Cloud Print registration on your PIXMA printer and upgrade your printer firmware2 to enjoy the convenience of remote printing!

AirPrint™ Wireless Printing for Seamless Mobile Printing Convenience
PIXMA MG4170 and MG3170 now support AirPrint™ wireless printing that makes direct wireless printing of emails, photos, documents or web pages from iOS device1 possible. Without the need to connect to a computer nor installation of any printer driver, you can submit the print job over a Wi-Fi network3 to get high quality printouts right away! Simply upgrade your printer firmware2 for a more enjoyable mobile printing experience!

Up to 2010, Canon has reduced the use of new resources by 168,000 tons and CO² emissions by 402,000 tons. Likewise, CHK from 2009 has established Ink Cartridge Collection boxes placed in voluntary schools, shopping malls, commercial centers and commercial buildings to collect used cartridges for recycling purpose.
