New Opening of Canon Customer Care Center and Canon Image²
Experience One-Stop Imaging Products and Services


Canon Customer Care Center and Canon Image² have been re-located to the whole 2nd floor of iSQUARE in Tsim Sha Tsui, a location within easy reach of transport to showcase the full range of Canon’s imaging products and offer the one-stop service to Canon customers and photo lovers. Situated on the same floor, Canon Customer Care Center and Canon Image² occupy a total area of 8,700 sq. ft., featuring a minimal and stylish interior design with the panoramic city view.

 

Canon Image² showcases the full range of Canon’s products which provide a “total solution” from image capturing to image output, comprised with different zones including EOS Digital SLR Camera, PowerShot, IXUS Digital Compact Camera, LEGRIA Digital Camcorder, PIXMA All-in-One Printer, Club Canon, Canon Studio and more. Visitors can test Canon’s latest product features and experience the high imaging performance through capturing the interestingly-themed shooting subjects and scenes in different zones. Following the incorporation of Wi-Fi connectivity in the latest IXUS Digital Compact Cameras and LEGRIA Digital Camcorders, visitors can also experience the new image sharing feature of IXUS 510 HS, LEGRIA HF M52 and HF R38 which instantly uploads videos and photos to tablets* or social networking platform. The easy wireless printing through PIXMA Cloud Print and AirPrint wireless printing with PIXMA MX897 are also ready for trial, allowing visitors to discover the convenience realized by the integration of imaging excellence and technology.

Zone Highlights
Canon Image² and Canon Customer Care Center are divided into different zones with tailored themes and highlights. These include:

Canon Image²
Canon Technology
Canon constantly strives to develop superior imaging technologies. In Canon Technology, visitors can learn more about various imaging technologies that make the core of Canon’s outstanding products, like CMOS image sensors, Multi-Layered Diffractive Optical elements (DO Optics) and FINE print head technology. What is more, this zone will exhibit Canon’s classic camera collections. First to come is the Canon F-1 35mm which is the first Canon Professional camera tailored for photographers’ needs. This Focal-Plane Shutter SLR Camera manufactured in 1971 was renowned for its high durability and reliability. It could endure 100,000 picture taking cycles, sustain the operation under large temperature difference from -30°C to 60°C and operate under 90% humidity. This revolutionary model for its time together with the technology advancement today is a testament to Canon’s persistence and perseverance for imaging and product excellence.

Canon Studio
Canon Studio houses various EOS Full Frame Digital SLR Cameras, PIXMA Pro Photo Printers and Canon Professional Digital Camcorders. Its “Shoot & Print” Service allows visitors to shoot in a 180 degree upside down household kitchen shooting scenario for unique and fun images, and make prints with high quality PIXMA printers on the spot. All fees collected through this service will be donated to “Dialogue in the Dark (HK) Foundation” to raise funds and spread the happiness to the blind.

EOS and EF Lenses Zone
EOS Zone offers the full line-up of EOS Digital SLR Cameras for trial shooting of a range of special subjects such as a model of the old Wanchai district back in the 70’s. Visitors can experience the different product performances spanning from entry to professional EOS models. In EF Lenses Zone, showcasing the powerful line-up of Canon EF lenses, visitors can experience the diverse imaging expression with over 60 lenses ranging from wide-angle, telephoto, macro, fisheye to tilt-shift lenses. Among those, the super telephoto lenses even allow the capturing of Victoria Harbour and Tsim Sha Tsui street scenes with their astonishing zoom power.

Cinema EOS System
Cinema EOS System is a professional cinematography system specialized for digital motion picture production. EOS C300 interchangeable-lens professional digital camcorder is also featured in Canon Image². Offering a unique combination of exceptional imaging performance, lens compatibility and mobility, EOS C300 expands the possibilities in film making and visual expression. Visitors can learn about how a Hollywood blockbuster is shot with EOS C300 and the camcorder’s unprecedented image quality through the EOS C300 movie extracts and behind-the-scenes video.

PowerShot
PowerShot Zone features a metropolitan shooting scene with 11 lego-built skyscrapers across Victoria Harbour. The “flying” UFO up above the city makes a dimly-lit environment for visitors to experience the outstanding night shooting power of the PowerShot Digital Compact Cameras.

IXUS
A colorful feature wall showcasing different eye-catching colors of IXUS cameras well represents the style of IXUS which combines slim and stylish body, with functionality and easy operation. Visitors can also have the premiere touch of the fun from sharing images to social networking platform instantly through the cameras’ new Wi-Fi Transfer function.

Family Zone
The zone features a colourful table setting that allows visitors to capture high quality home videos with LEGRIA Digital Camcorders. With the new Wi-Fi uploading function, visitors can experience the convenience of instantly uploading videos to the social media platforms. SELPHY Compact Photo Printers are also available for visitors’ instant experience by revealing their creativeness on easy creation of photo prints, and with added personal touch.

PIXMA
Visitors can enjoy the convenience of smart mobile printing with the new PIXMA Cloud Print and AirPrint wireless printing functions. To facilitate a better understanding on the exceptional printing performance of PIXMA All-in-one printers, there are photo samples showing different print effects and the printers’ color contrast level. A Self Printing Zone¹ is also available for making high quality prints on the spot, allowing visitors to experience the simple operation and high print speed of PIXMA printers.

SOHO Zone
SOHO Zone showcases various LASER SHOT and imageCLASS Laser printers that bring quick and cost-effective printing solutions to small offices or SOHO users. Catering to different printing needs, these laser printers can enhance office efficiency and productivity. Canon calculators, scanners, projectors and network camera are also displaying in the zone to showcase Canon products diversification.

Club Canon
Club Canon offers rich and diverse shooting activities, workshops, exhibitions and exclusive gift redemption for its members. Visitors can find out the latest Club Canon members’ programmes and activities in this zone, and details on gift and premium redemption like EOS T-Shirt or camera bag with their Loyalty Points.

Canon Customer Care Center
Canon Customer Care Center offers professional and versatile after-sales services to Canon members, ranging from product enquiries to maintenance and repair. In this comfortable and spacious area, customers can enjoy the prompt support and customer care to address their needs. A CPS Express Service Counter is also exclusively at service for all Canon Professional Services (CPS) members, in order to provide the privileged priority maintenance and consultant service.

About Canon Hongkong Company Limited
