We would like to inform users about system compatibility of macOS Sierra (macOS 10.12.1) with Canon Cameras and Applications.

3. How to register lens aberration correction data / Web Service Settings [Procedure-1]

Follow the procedure below to register lens data.
Before starting please make sure the camera is not connected to the computer.


1. Click the “EOS Utility” icon displayed at the top right of the menu bar.
2. Place a checkmark next to “Do not launch EOS Utility automatically when camera is connected”.

3. Connect the camera and computer via a USB cable, and turn the camera’s power switch to ON.
4. Display the folder where the software is saved.

[Register lens aberration correction data]
5. Open the [EOS Lens Registration Tool] inside the [Canon Utilities] folder.
6. Start-up the EOS Lens Registration Tool in the [EOS Lens Registration Tool] folder.

7. Place checkmarks next to the required lens data and click the OK button.

To register lens data again or do remote shooting, etc., please turn the camera’s power off then on again before using.

[Web Service Settings]
5. Open the [EOS Web Service Registration Tool] inside the [Canon Utilities] folder.
6. Start-up the EOS Web Service Registration Tool in the [EOS Web Service Registration Tool] folder.
7. Log in to CANON iMAGE GATEWAY and set Web services to use.
