Feeding from Dual Rolls

The iPF841 is featured with dual rolls supplying two same or different kinds of media with various sizes, and automatic switching between media is done promptly based on various printing types and sizes. Also, users may select their desired roll manually in the printer driver.

Large Production without Interruption

Canon's unique “Hot-Swap” sub-ink system allows user to replace ink on-the-fly without stopping the printer. If ink in main tank runs out, the same ink is supplied from its sub tank, no need to stop printing for ink replacement. It not only facilitates users with high operational printing demand, but also ensures ink in tanks can be used up without wastage.

High-Capacity ink tanks are available in 700ml for the iPF841. This meets the demand of high print-volume users and enhances their productivity when using professional applications like the CAD.

Free Layout

The "Free Layout" function treats the print results from each application as a single object. It can easily edit each object such as alignment, expansion, reduction and rotation in the same operation.

Print Job Accounting Manager

The Print Job Accounting function allows tracking print jobs by individual user to calculate ink, media costs, and the number of pages printed.

Print Plug-in for Microsoft Office

This utility makes it easy to print large-format documents created in Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. The Plug-in appears in a tool bar inside the Microsoft application and has an easy-to-follow "Wizard". The Plug-in will bypass the printer driver to simplify the printing process. A few simple steps convert 8.5" x 11" office document to poster size.
Direct Print & Share

Canon’s Direct Print & Share software makes it easy to print PDF, JPEG, TIFF and HP-GL/2 files, without ever needing to open the original application. It also allows share files with others effortlessly via Cloud storage services.
