The course will be conducted by Canon Professional representatives who will explain the functions and operation tips in details. You will be able to master the class-leading features of EOS 5D Mark IV upon completion of this course.

Course Outline

Suitable to:

  • Ownership of a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV camera (Product should be purchased in Hong Kong or Macau with a valid "Canon Hongkong Co., Ltd." Purchase Record Card / International Warranty Card)
  • Participant should bring his own camera, memory card and tripod to the lesson

Course Content:

Day 1

  • Tips for EOS 5D Mark IV shooting and playback operations and settings
  • Logging your trip: Built-in GPS setting
  • Shoot and share your special moments: Built-in Wi-Fi setting and smartphone app operation
  • Landscape shooting application: HDR photos, interval timer shooting and time-lapse movie shooting

Day 2

  • Shooting moving subjects: AF Settings, DAF movie shooting & 4K Frame Grab
  • Quick configuration of camera: customization of buttons and camera
  • Introduction to Canon software: application of Dual Pixel RAW Optimizer
  • PIXMA photo printing tips

Terms and Conditions

  1. Participant should bring his own cameras and memory card (if applicable) to the classes.
  2. The transfer of classes will not be accepted within 7 days prior to the commencement of the course. Participant is not permitted to transfer into a different course and transfer will be subject to availability. Any participant who cannot attend the lesson is considered as waiving his own attendance. Please note, no refund will be provided to absentee after confirmation has been made.
  3. No refund will be made once payment is received.
  4. For the following extreme weather conditions, classes will be cancelled and participants will be notified of the alternative arrangements.
    • During Class
      Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is Valid - Class Cancelled
      Rainstorm Black Warning is Valid - Resume Normal
    • On the Day of Class - 12:00nn

  5. Should the weather be unstable on the day of the course, Canon Institute of Creative Imaging may have special arrangement according to the enironment and weather of the day of the course. If the class is cancelled due to unstable weather, Canon Institute of Creative Imaging will notify the participants accordingly for the make up class arrangements. Any student who cannot attend the make up lesson is considered as waiving his own attendance.
  6. Regarding the practical location arrangement of 2nd session outdoor pracitce, Canon Institute of Creative Imaging will decide the final location base on the weather of the day of the lesson. Practical location will change from "Kowloon Walled City Park" to "Kwun Tong Promenade" if the weather is unstable, Canon Institute of Creative Imaging will notify the participants by the morning of the day of the lesson.
  7. Canon reserves the right to cancel classes due to extreme weather conditions, special circumstances and insufficient enrollments. If so, participants will be notified of the alternative arrangements.
  8. If participants are found vandalizing school property or that of other students, behaving destructively or hinder the progress of the lesson then Canon will have the right to invalidate participant's status.
  9. Canon reserves the right to make any alterations to the course details when necessary without prior notice.
