PowerShot G7 X incorporates a f/1.8 large aperture lens and large 1” type CMOS image sensor for enhanced low-light shooting and easy creation of background blur with shallow depth of field. Renowned photographer Jimmy Ming Shum who specializes in portraits had created a movie using PowerShot G7 X to demonstrate the highly praised shallow depth of field performance made possible by the camera’s large aperture, which can make the subject out from a beautifully defocused background. He was also impressed with the accurate reproduction of vivid colors throughout the shooting process. Featuring compact design and a 3-inch touch LCD monitor which can be tilted up 180°, PowerShot G7 X offers great freedom and flexibility to frame and control focusing, for both photo and movie shooting. More diverse effects can be achieved by using the camera’s Manual Full HD Movie shooting function.

EOS 7D Mark II is the next generation high speed advanced APS-C camera that features new Dual “DIGIC 6” digital image processors, Dual Pixel CMOS AF, Custom Movie Servo AF and enhanced Full HD EOS Movie shooting at up to 59.94p. Professional photographer Mo Ming had created a movie about skateboard with the theme of “Spark You Passion” using EOS 7D Mark II, and he was impressed with the tracking AF performance of the camera. In one of the shots, Mo Ming hung the camera down slowly from a window on the second floor to capture the main character gliding on his skateboard to enter the frame, and the camera performed so well that it quickly locked on to the subject and started tracking. According to Mo Ming, the camera’s AF function with high speed and sensitivity can help users discover new levels of expressive creativity. Besides, the camera delivered sharp and detailed images with virtually no noise even at high ISO settings to help filming with ease at night.

Experienced traveler Jessica Tse believed that traveling and shooting are inseparably interconnected. To her, it was a spoil of the moment to change lens for shooting distant scenery. Featuring top-of-the-class 65x optical zoom power, PowerShot SX60 HS takes telephotography to the next level by allowing users to enjoy tele-shooting without the need for bulky and heavy equipment. Jessica had tried out the tele-shooting capability of the camera in her trip to Taiwan. She praised the superior performance of the Optical Image Stabilizer (IS), helping her achieve sharp and clear telephoto images despite her shaking hands.
