The Canon Office Simplicity 08 was successfully held on 12-13 Nov, 2008 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event was a full house with hundreds of visitors.

The large poster bearing the image of a tea cup displayed at the front door of the exhibition site revealed the theme of the event - "A hassle-free workplace is achieved after adopting Canon business solutions".

Customers who use Canon business solution can save both time and money on work and they are also freed from handling tedious paper works! With the time saved, you may also be able to treat yourself a cup of tea!

The exhibition comprised a display of products, seminar and auction. The pavilions in the exhibition area under different topics were showcased with professional consultants providing demonstrations; customers were able to experience the latest office equipment and business solutions that meet the requirements of their offices.

In addition, speaker from Adobe Systems Hong Kong Limited was invited to share his views on how Adobe Acrobat 9 helps to improve workflow, communications and collaboration, relying on the establishment of simplified electronic forms and portfolios.

An auction session was arranged after the seminar, a number of digital products were available for sale at a $100 based price. The auction items included mobile phones, laptop computers, computer software and some of the hottest electronic products. Some of customers were able to bid their favorite products at very attractive prices!

3. Document Management System
Soft copies are all under a “ready” condition for workers to retrieve and utilize after scanning. Featuring the auto indexing function, corporate can perform scanning in just a few clicks on the Multi-functional printer. The latest document management system is enhanced with Chinese character recognition which surely is one of the strongest features in the Chinese market.

4. Publishing Solution
Through the simple-to-use publishing software offered by Canon, corporate will have no hassle dealing with in-house printing and publishing. This also empowers corporate to keep abreast with the fast-changing environment.

5. Output Management Solution
An advantage for large corporate with multiple printers installed in the office, output management can help administrator to monitor the printer usage records in the office. Reports can be generated from the system which serves the purpose of better allocation of resources in the office. The solution also provides print “anywhere” function, which enables users to collect print-outs from any one of the networked printers installed in the office.
