Canon Joins Eco Expo Asia for First Time
Comprehensive strategy drives industry's environmental commitment

Canon Hongkong Company Limited (CHK), a leader in the imaging industry, joined Eco Expo Asia for the first time to showcase its green product lifecycle and share the brand's corporate philosophy since its foundation, Kyosei, which envisions the achievement of a sustainable society in which all people live harmoniously and work together into the future. CHK continues to contribute to environmental sustainability by endeavouring to use the least resources to achieve highly functional products with minimal environmental burden throughout the entire product lifecycle. | | | |

Canon's imageRUNNER ADVANCE series of multifunctional printers, launched in 2010, PIXMA Photo Printer and EOS Digital SLR Camera all employ various patented green and energy-saving technologies, including the new bio-based plastic and 100% recycled plastic, which accord with the brand's Kyosei philosophy. CHK is active in promoting environmental protection at the consumer level, with an Ink Cartridge Recycling Program featuring McDull as ambassador; a Toner Cartridge Recycling Program that recycles cartridges at Canon's own facility; and the Let's Make the Earth Smile Program, all of which help advance the philosophy of Kyosei. |
