Individual Ink Tank System for Excellent Photo and Document Print Quality
PIXMA MG7770 features a 6-color individual ink tank system with the inclusion of gray ink tank to improve the gray tone in B&W photo printing, faithfully reproduce the details in both highlight and shadow areas for more delicate gradation and amend color distortion. It also greatly enhances color reproduction for color photo printing. PIXMA MG6870 and PIXMA MG5770 adopt a 5-color individual ink tank system with photo black ink that sharply increases the overall contrast and gradation, while PIXMA MG3670 utilizes a 4-color ink system that features a dedicated pigment-based black ink to enhance B&W document printing performance. Ink smearing problem on plain paper can be substantially reduced and sharp and clear text can be ensured.

PIXMA MG7770 features Canon's proprietary Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) technology print heads for printing with precise microscopic 1-picolitre ink droplets. It supports up to 9,600 x 2,400dpi professional photo print resolution to ensure faithful reproduction of impressive details and vividness. PIXMA MG6870, PIXMA MG5770 and PIXMA MG3670 utilize a 2-picolitre ink droplet technology and support up to 4,800 x 1,200dpi photo print resolution to deliver high quality photo prints with fine details.
