In meeting this policy, Canon Hongkong:
- Establishes, implements, maintains and improves Canon Hongkong’s Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System
- Complies with legislation and other regulations applicable to Canon’s activities
- Communicates with stakeholders our commitment and information related to quality, environment, health and safety
- Provides employee training and information required for quality enhancement, increases awareness of environmental and health & safety issues
- Increases customer satisfaction through managing service performance and developing skills of employees
- Maintains close relationships with governments, communities, and other interested parties, and actively support and participate in environmental protection, health & safety activities
- Adopts measures to control, prevent and minimize risks of environmental pollution and injury & ill
- Optimizes the organization for promoting the Canon Group’s global environmental efforts, and promote environmental assurance activities for the Group as a whole
- Promotes energy and resource conservation and elimination of hazardous substances in all corporate activities
- Gives priority to materials, parts and products with lower environmental burden in procuring and purchasing activities
- Provides a safe and healthy work environment for its staff, customers, visitors and neighbors
