To realize consistent contributions to our greener environment, Canon Hongkong (CHK) showed continuous support to the 19^th Green Power Hike for the fifth consecutive year, and accomplished the cheerful day with an attainment of the 2^nd Runner-up of the Corporation / Organization Cup in 10km category. Through joining the event, participants are hopefully raising funds for Green Power on Environmental Education Programmes across schools and the community.

The annual charitable event was held on January 14 and CHK, in the categories of 10km and 25km, has mustered 4 Corporate Hiking Teams to show continuous support. One of the CHK teams, "Canon -飛毛腿", has added colors to the event by attaining the 2^nd Runner-up of the Corporation / Organization Cup in 10km category with an outstanding record at 54 minutes 52 seconds. This does not only remark a memorable day for the CHK participants, but also paving a greener way for our next generations in future.

Green Power Hike is one of the largest charitable walkathons in Hong Kong. In the past 19 years, more than 43,000 participants walked for a better and greener environment, and raised more than a total of HK$54 million in donations, which have been used to support local green education in kindergartens, primary, and secondary schools.
