Canon Hongkong (CHK) continues its support to Earth Hour 2015, a significant global lights-off campaign for the 7^th consecutive year. Earth Hour is organized annually by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and is held on 28^th March, the event aims to raise the public awareness towards issues of climate change in support of a better future.

Over 3,900 companies and building, all the universities and more than 300 primary and secondary school supported Earth Hour 2015. CHK encouraged all of its staff to support “Dress Black Day” as a prelude for Earth Hour on 27^th March, to show their determination to save our planet and to make a difference for a sustainable future. And Corporate Communications team delivered the theme “One Hour For One Bright Future” and the “One Earth Mission” message in the morning of 27^th March, reminding the staff to consume less and wisely by turning off light bulb, reduce food waste, not buy unnecessary clothes, and recycle more often.

And CHK joined the WWF-Hong Kong first charity run “Run for Change” in Western Kowloon Waterfront Promenade, echoing Earth Hour 2015. 20 runners from different department composed 5 corporate charity teams, ran under the “Light out” moments in Victoria Harbour, witness Earth Hour.
