Canon Hongkong (CHK) has always dedicated its efforts in promoting sports development through different kinds of sponsorship and imaging products support, with the aim to enhance the excitement and quality of different mega sports events to be successfully operated in the Hong Kong city.  As a result to staging Hong Kong with a position as one of Asia‘s major sports hub.

To celebrate the 10^th anniversary of the "M" Mark System, the Major Sports Event Committee (MSEC) organized the Hong Kong "M" Mark Sports Event Awards Presentation Ceremony on 19^th March at Central Government Offices to recognize the contribution of all national sports associations in bringing major sports events to Hong Kong community and to salute their event sponsors for their commitment. CHK is honored to be nominated by Hong Kong Tennis Association, the organizer of "Hong Kong Tennis Open 2014", to recognize the achievement to be the "Official Imaging Partner" during the event by receiving the Certificate of Appreciation.

About "M" Mark System

The "M" Mark System was launched by the MSEC under the Sports Commission in 2004. It aims to help national sports associations develop sustainable major sports events through greater participation and support from the commercial sector and the wider community. Under the system, sports events meeting the assessment criteria will be granted "M" Mark recognition. The number of recognized "M" Mark events has increased from 4 in Year 2005 to 13 in Year 2014. Over the past decades, around HK$85 million funding has been approved to support "M" Mark events.
